Stories After OMS

What's in store for graduates

For some OMS students, post graduate plans will entail finding a job in United Arab Emirates and starting a career.  Other students who are academically prepared may wish to attend graduate schools outside of United Arab Emirates , either universities in the United States or U.S.-based schools in other GCC countries.

Spotlight on a Emiratis Graduate

Hurairah Bakir is a Emiratis national who attended the American Baccalaureate School (ABS) in United Arab Emirates for middle school and high school. After graduating high school, Hurairah  was accepted at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. He was just 17 when he moved to the U.S. to begin his studies. After two years, he transferred to University of Southern California's Leventhal School of Accounting. He expects to matriculate in spring of 2019 and hopes to continue on to graduate school. We caught up with Ikramullah to ask him about his experience studying in the United States.
